To complement our array of scanning services, we offer a comprehensive data capture and indexing service. DocuSense is able to capture information from your original film and integrate it into the scanned images to help simplify searching and retrieval of your data.
Information can be captured either from the original source material, i.e. printed onto a microfiche jacket header or if not possible then extracted from the digital scanned image. We also offer an OCR character recognition option which creates completely searchable PDF files from your original documents.
Even if your microfilm doesn’t look like our examples, our equipment and operatives are flexible and can capture most things. So if you have any questions, you can message us using the form on the home or contact pages.
